AALL 2012 has ended

Franklin Runge

I joined the University of Kentucky College of Law Library Faculty as the Faculty Services Librarian in May 2011. In addition to my duties in the library, I am a member of the teaching team that will instruct first year students in their Legal Research and Writing course.

I received a B.A. in Political Science from Hiram College in 2000, a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 2003, and a M.L.S. from the School of Library and Information Science at Indiana University in 2010. Following law school, I clerked for the judges of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court, where my research interests included right to die decisions, complaints for grandparent visitation, and petitions to remove children from the Commonwealth. After my clerkship, I stayed in Boston, Massachusetts and practiced law at Weisman & McIntyre, PC, where I focused on product liability cases against tobacco companies, education reform litigation at the state level, and seatbelt safety litigation against automotive manufacturers.
